For cooling, Gigabyte implemented the WINDFORCE 3X cooling system. It features two 90mm fans and one 80mm fan. The fans feature unique blades, where the airflow is split by the triangular fan edge, and guided smoothly through the 3D stripe curve on the fan surface. With alternate spinning, the fans reduce turbulence and increase air pressure. The 3D Active Fan provides semi-passive cooling and the fans will turn off when the GPU is in a low load or low power state. There is also seven composite copper heat pipes and a large copper plate with direct contact to the GPU and VRAM, which efficiently transfer heat. The extended heatsink design allows air flow to pass through, providing better heat dissipation. It also has RGB Fusion 2.0, which has 16.7 million customizable color options and a variety of lighting effects. You can also use it to synchronize with other AORUS devices.

NVIDIA Ampere Architecture
NVIDIA Ampere is the 2nd generation RTX architecture. It features up to twice the FP32 throughput, 2nd Gen RT Core throughput, and 3rd Gen Tensor Core throughput of the previous generation. It also features a Samsung 8N custom process and utilizes GDDR6X VRAM.
Real-Time Ray Tracing
The NVIDIA GeForce RTX platform enables real-time ray tracing of objects and environments with physically accurate shadows, reflections, refractions, and global illumination.
DLSS
NVIDIA DLSS (Deep Learning Super Sampling) is AI rendering that boosts frame rates while still providing optimal image quality using the dedicated AI processing Tensor Cores on the GeForce RTX platform. This gives you the performance you need to maximize ray tracing settings and resolutions for an immersive visual experience.
HDMI 2.1
The HDMI 2.1 interface provides increased bandwidth, allowing a single cable to output to 8K HDR TVs for ultra-high-resolution gaming.

got this card december of last year and about a week ago in feb got the black screen / 100% fan blast crash, looked online and found that this is an wide spread issue on gigabyte gpus, for the money I paid for this gpu, you would think their QC standard would be higher. would not recommend this company's gpu to anyone.

We all know these are overpriced, but for the new pricing, this is a solid value. Card runs relatively cool under hard productivity loads. Easily clocks to 2000+mhz boost despite advertised boost clocks.

Best video cards ever!

This is the best video card I have ever had. It easily helps with video editing, gaming, photo editing, and anything else I throw at it. It's a little big but it still fits in my case. I also like the way it's doesn't have a lot of RGB lights all over and the fact that it was super easy to install and update the drivers. I have been an Nvidia card gamer for over 10 years now and this is replacing my two GTX 1080's. If you know anything about graphic cards, that's impressive that one card can out perform two outdated graphic cards. The performance is amazing and if you have an old 1000 series I highly recommend that you upgrade to the 3000 series. You won't be sorry. The RTX really makes a difference.
