The carton was delivered smashed and ripped with clear tape added to keep the contents from falling out! The internal packing kept the content from being damaged and the books were in good condition. Again, great product and I would buy this supplier's products again.

Needless to say, the plastic is clear. However, a very light surface stippling cuts down on glare which is half the problem. Appears quite durable but, havent abused any to know for sure. A larger size is in my future. PS Stiff photo sheets drop in easily.

I wanted something for prints of my landscape work, and this solved that need. Having digital albums of my work is fine and all, but will never replace the impact of seeing photographs printed.

Will 16x24 prints fit? 16.5 x23.4 seems like such an odd size...

16.5 x 23.4 or 594 x 420 mm is metric A2 sizing that the rest of the world uses outside of the USA and Canada. As far as prints fitting, I believe what you are thinking of are 16 x 20 prints. These of course will easily fit and be protected in the A2 sized sleeves of this book.

How are refill pages inserted? Do the rings open?

The pages are top loading. There are no rings . The middle is sort of molded together to keep the pages in place. We are VERY pleased with the product. :)

Is the grey "Profolio" logo along the spine removable?

Yes it is removable. Just bend the portfolio backwards and the paper logo can be removed.

Can this book be set up so that images can be viewed at about a 90 degree angle, or does it just lie flat to display?

In my experience, Dennis, viewing works better if the folio is flat. I suggest a spiral binder for 90 degree viewing without a tip over challenge.Best,Catherine R.
