Small size, great for the car or home use. Pelican made my dive light that is the brightest Ive ever seen, this is very close to that.

Bright enough, beats mini-Mag

Anything made by Pelican is worth it. Light is reliable, tough, and bright. Strange batteries, though.

Good, reliable light!

Overall, this is a great light. It throws a beam nicely, the light is a very even, constant LED beam without any of the residual yellow that incandescent bulbs throw on their subject. The light housing is robust yet light in weight, seems very durable. The pocket clip is very utilitarian and EXTREMELY useful. I have yet to find a light without a pocket clip that I can carry comfortably aside from a belt holster. The tailcap switch is also nice for fast on/off activation. I've found surefire brand batteries to be the best for CR123 batteries, they're 100% reliable and last. Lastly, the only reason I'm rating the light a 4/5 instead of 5/5 is that it's not as bright as some other lights in it's size/weight range. My Surefire LED executive defender is the same size and five times as bright! But, it's a much more expensive light with a different purpose. On the other hand, more light is usually a good thing. Additionally, it'd be nice to see a dim (5-10 lumen) second switch setting like some Fenix, Surefire & Olight models have... click once, full power; click twice, dim light that lasts many more hours. It's a little easier on your night-adjusted eyes too!
