The ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 is not designed for that use. It does include an 18% Gray card target (Middle Gray)...in case that target can be used to accomplish it.

Hmm, this doesnt seem to work. Does this product (the profile creating plug-in) work with Lightroom Creative Cloud, or only the Classic version? In my cloud version, running on a Mac, the referenced plug-in manager does not appear.

Usually a couple of years after opening the Color chart to sunlight. But I have had my Colorchecker for 9 years now and taking a look at photos I had the ColorChecker in back then there is hardly any difference between then and now compared to the new checker but if your color rendition is super critical the nI would replace every 2 to 4 years

No, it is not. Avoid exposing the chart to bright light and store it in its cover when it is not in use. Also, avoid touching the color patches and protect it from all liquids, dust, extreme high temperature, or chemical fumes.

The ColorChecker Passport Photo 2 is a color calibration tool for digital cameras shooting RAW and TIFF. When used properly, it will provide accurate images when the saved profile is applied to the image. It can also be used to perform a custom white balance in camera or in postproduction in all image formats.
