Calibrite ColorChecker Passport Video Reviews
Work well
Once the exposure is done, this chart work great. I don't like the way it fold. For the price I wish it's gonna be working for a bit - seems a bit fragile so I am extra careful with this colorchecker.
Good addition
Excellent for videographers. A good addition to my photography equipment, especially shooting video raw and making colorgrid
Nice little tool
This is one of those tools that everyone just keeps putting off and works around not having one, but this is a must have if you run video shoots with multiple/different cameras. It's also a great tool to profile your lenses and get them to match as better straight out of camera. Would recommend... just pull the trigger.
Must have
Make a big one! So much easier to use than the paper ones.
Perfect compact colour chart
If you can get past the price tag this is a must have to any serious shooter
Great Product!
The plastic case is a wonderful feature. It protects the reflective surfaces from dirt and damage in rugged environs. If you're working in BT.709, put the white patch at 100 IRE, gray at 41 and black at 19 IRE.
Meah...
It helps, a little bit better than other cheap checker. It's heavy, but build quality is far from good, hard to open - scary to broke it each time. Also colors are printed over paper, so one touch with hand/water/dirt and it will be dirty without chance to clean it up. Defect with focus card which everybody mention previously is fixed now. No more date of production or expire, so it harder to track freshness and accuracy of current item.
Match cameras? No problem.
This has been a tremendous addition to my kit. Not sure why I held off on it for so long, but it has become essential for better matching my cameras when set up for multiple camera interviews or other shoots.
