I have Sony Alpha 7iii. Does the automatic focus work well when filming a video?
Asked by: martin
Yes the autofocus does work well. But this lens you linked has the Fuji mount and won't work on the A7iii. If you get the Sony E mount lens it will work on the A7iii but it will crop the full frame sensor of the camera. Less than half of the available megapixels will be used. The angle of view will increase by 1.5x.

There is no aperture ring and no switch for auto aperture. Is there anyway to do auto aperture on a Fuji x-t2?
Asked by: Gerhard
The Tamron 18-300mm f/3.5-6.3 Di III-A VC VXD Lens for FUJIFILM X is an electronically-controlled lens. As indicated on page 227 of the Fujifilm X-T2 Mirrorless Digital Camera Owner's Manual, when using a lens with no aperture ring, under the camera's Setup menu option [Button/Dial Setting → Aperture Setting], you may select the [AUTO + MANUAL] option, which would allow you to rotate the front command dial on the camera body to choose the aperture. You would rotate the front command dial past the minimum aperture to choose the [A] Auto Aperture-Priority Mode.
