Kingston Max USB-C Reviews
Fastest USB I've ever used.
Transfer files very fast. Love the fact that it is small. 1TB is a plus. I bought it on sale. I used it to free up space on my laptop. Nicely packed
MacBook Pro storage
Works well with my Macbook Pro M1
Call Data Traveler is just what I needed
I can put a lot of data on this flash Drive and take it with me wherever I go and the data will be on it that I need to do my work.
Good but too wide
I bought this as a backup for a small MacBook Air and it is a good capacity for our use, however the main issue I have is that the case is too wide and the USB-C connector is centered on the end of the case and it blocks the only other USB-C port on the computer. Since the computer needs to be connected to power in order to use Time Machine, this needs to be plugged into an extension cable or a hub to work. If Kingston had placed the connector off-center, it would fit without an adapter or hub. It works fine on a MacBook Pro that has USB-C ports on both sides of the computer.
excellent thumb drive
love its speed but the form factor is a bit awkward
Compact portable drive Just compromise on the write speeds
Read speeds are awesome, almost close to the advertised but the write speed are only a third of what is advertised
A Type-C Flash Drive
Finally, I own a Type C flash drive. I no longer have to look for the adapter wires, plugs and other stuff to connect a flash drive to my computer. When It's connected, it's fast and efficient. I also like the way this folds up to protect the plug.
Forget large video files
Drive chokes and stops when writing large files. Write speed fast at first then slows and eventually stops.
