B&H does not perform bench tests on products. According to manufacturer tests, the product has undergone testing that saw it running for over a week in standard operating conditions and no issues have been reported, including overheating.

The Teradek Spark 4K Transmitter/Receiver Set offers 4k and I think that would be the main reason that you would consider the kit over the Tredek Ace. Also the Spark 4k supports 10 bit and the ACE 500 only supports 8-bit color.

Is there a USB power bank you recommend that will charge the transmitter while in use?
I imagine any usb power adapter will work. I use a black magic cinema camera that's usually using the ac adapter so I plug the spark in to the usb-c port.
