Can I remove the screw and make it 1/4 20 female screw hole?

The Matthews 5/8" Baby Pin with 1/4"-20 Male Screw BH #MA7012 is fixed. For a female 1/4-20 thread on a baby stud you could use B&H # IMSRP112P.
