FUJIFILM XF 33mm f/1.4 R LM WR Reviews

It's everything it's supposed to be.

I disagree that there's such a thing as 'too much sharpness' and that it can mean 'lacks character' especially when we all rely on post production to add the 'feel' we want. This lens is superb.

Great quality, of course

I have several Fujifilm prime lens and this one is my go to. It is always on my X-T4 unless I need my 18mm or 56mm for a particular composition. This focal range is great for what I photograph. The build quality is top rate. The photo quality is outstanding, sharp from edge to edge and beautiful color. Close focus distance is reasonable.

Excellent image quality paired with the XH2. Sharp and great color. This lens and the Sigma 24-50 are the two lenses that stay on my camera.

This is a really great little lens. Super sharp and super fast af. I was little worried about the size and weight but it pairs perfectly with the x-t4. Really looking forward to spending lots of time with this one.

I started using this lens professionally as soon as I got it and the images are incredible. My clients love the clarity and color. I have liked all the products from fujifilm that I have used before and this is no exception. Also great build quality. And thank you to B&H for shipping me this lens in under 48 hours.

Great image quality in a compact body only issue - the inner element in mine moves around quite a bit when not powered, worried about possible wear and tear over time with that. They all move a bit, it is just louder, more pronounced in the 33mm

Sharp, beautiful images at a versatile, natural focal length. This is one of the best Fuji lenses I've used, and is easily my personal favorite. Not too large, nor very heavy, this is easy to carry and yields stunning results.

Beyond Excellent

I bought this lens for my XT-5 b/c it was on the list to be able to use the full 40MP sensor. I also have the Sigma 18-50 2.8 which I put on only when I cannot get back far enough like inside our condo. This 33mm lens might as well be permanently fixed to my XT-5. It is absolutely AMAZING. It can bring in a massive amount of light at 1.4 and the bokeh is absolutely stunning. Low light photography is a breeze with this thing. I have not shot it outdoors yet b/c I just got it in December and it's still cold and gloomy here in the Chicago area. As soon as it warms up and we start getting some sunny days, I will be putting this to work outdoors and I'm sure it will awe me all over again.
