Dual 5W midrange tweeters and a 10W woofer make up the built-in 2.1-channel 20W sound system of the GS50. The drivers use DSP IC technology to fine-tune sound modes for music and other genres, and they all benefit from 270° sound output, so everyone around the GS50 can enjoy the music or listen to the movie.
Ambient Light Sensor
Over an extended viewing outdoors, light can change and shift, affecting the picture. To compensate for that, the GS50's ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the brightness to enhance details and contrast in both bright and dark scenes for a more consistent experience.
Long Battery Life
Overall battery life depends on a combination of content type and projector settings, but in general, the GS50 can provide up to 150 minutes of video or up to 360 minutes of music.
Game Mode
Activate this mode when using the GS50 to project your gaming system. You get a low 22.7ms input lag and responsive 1080p/60 image. Please note that input lag is slightly increased when keystone is enabled, but gameplay smoothness is unaffected.
Safe Viewing for Kids
- Reflected Light: The reflected light that's a byproduct of the projection is easier on the eyes than a flat-panel's blue light emission.
- Keypad Lock: One button can lock the projector's controls to keep kids from changing settings.
- Parental Control: BenQ's FamiLand app can be used to manage viewing times, select safe YouTube content, and build your own custom playlists.
- Eye-Protection Sensor: The projection light is automatically shut off temporarily when kids approach within 11.8" of the projector.
3-Way Control
Control the GS50 portable outdoor projector in one of three ways. First, you can use the included remote control. Second, you can use your mobile device with the BenQ Smart Control app for iOS and Android. Third, you can you Google Assistant and voice commands.
Image Correction
To ensure that you have a properly square image to project, even if you need to project from the side of the screen or wall, the GS50 offers 2D keystone with four-corner adjustment and auto vertical keystone correction.
