Can the bluetooth remote be used for other cameras?
Yes it does, including DJI Action 3 and there's a list of other cameras it's compatible with.. I use it with my Action 3, and it can control up to 6 cameras simultaneously

Yes it does work with the Action 3.. I know personally IT DOES WORK... I bought BOTH from BHPhoto and used them on vacation...make sure you buy the Ball magnetic mount as well to attach to Action 3
