Google Pixel 6 Overview

Google Pixel 6 Reviews

So far so good

I do love the features of this phone. I do not like that you can not add anything that is not google to the bottom of your screen. I also do not like that you can not create folders for apps in the apps organization. Lastly, I am sad that the google photos is so complicated to use. I would like for there to be an easier way to organize photos like the LG GQ's had. Again, there are still really neat and beautiful features about this device though.

Pixel 6, so far

So far pretty good. It's a bit of a memory gig and it's difficult to move files from one device to another. Otherwise pretty good.

Sleek, powerful phone

I love my pixel 6 so much. The finger print scanner is fast and useful especially in the era of masks making face ID difficult. The sensitivity to my network is powerful- I've never gotten service in parts of my work building and the pixel 6 keeps me connected the whole time. The photos are gorgeous, even in incredibly low light.

Not up to standard

Took the leap on Google for a cheaper phone of quality. I'd rate it low-mid tier at best. The front camera has horrible quality unless you're in very bright lighting. Even then it doesn't film great tiktoks lol but the back cameras are decent and Google has some neat features like the magic eraser. The battery life is on the low end of average. On a slow enough day at work it probably needs to charge before I leave. It has adaptive settings, but it still can't quite keep up with a lot of usage. The screen looks good, but apps are buggy. Just now it wouldn't register that I was pushing to send an email. The entire rest of the screen worked fine but I could not send the email even after restarting the app.I'm still adjusting to the os, but it is very fluid and intuitive. You can't make folders in the app drawer which is a major complaint for me. There's a search feature but that doesn't declutter visually.Don't get this phone if you don't have patience for bugs. I'd go 2.5 if I could.

At this point I like the Pixel 6 but there's so much to learn because it's basically on a iPhone type format and I've always had the Galaxy phone so there's a lot for me to learn, but at this point I've enjoyed it.

Keyboard-

Wish the keyboard ⌨️ would split when set on length of phone. I also wish that all punctuation was in the letters of the keyboard when you can hold and release to get what you want. Not go into another screen to get your punctuation ❗

Features are very different from my pixel 3. Takes some adjusting to.

Great (for the price)

Pros: high resolution screen; point-and-shoot pics (particularly at night) look great and Instagram-ready; snappy performance; live transcription and translation features are phenomenal; strong, break-resistant glass; cheap relative to what you get. Cons: mediocre battery life; fingerprint reader sucks; build quality feels somewhat cheap compared to flagships from other brands (although with a case this is a non-issue); as a new pixel user, I find the difference between two of the main gestures (swiping up for the app drawer, and swiping up to see all open apps) too small, and the phone will often do one when I meant the other; Bluetooth connections seem to drop occasionally. Overall, for the price this is a fantastic phone.

does the pixel 6 include recording call?
Asked by: Avihay
After an online search, I see the Recording Call feature is available in various countries but not in the US. As we carry the US model, the feature may not be available if used with a Non-US Carrier. I have pasted a link below with more details. https://www.androidpolice.com/2021/08/18/call-recording-in-the-google-phone-app-is-rolling-out-to-pixels/

Does 2 sim cards allow 2 different carriers, such as Verizon and Google Fi?
Asked by: Larry
You would be able to use two different carriers with this Google Pixel 6 Dual-SIM 256GB 5G Smartphone (Unlocked, Stormy Black). As long as the carriers are supported by the phone. Please note: This phone is not fully compatible with Verizon and Google Fi.
