Fully immerse yourself in your favorite games with the ROG Strix XG43UQ 43" 16:9 4K VA Gaming Monitor from ASUS. Whether you are watching movies or exploring virtual landscapes, the XG43UQ offers high-definition visuals with smooth performance suitable for any enthusiast.

The 43-inch Vertical Alignment (VA) panel boasts a resolution of 3840 x 2160 with wide viewing angles up to 178° for intensely detailed digital environments that can be seen from anywhere around the room. A 4000:1 contrast ratio, a brightness level up to 1000 cm/d², HDR10, and support for 10.7-billion colors provide you with vivid picture quality. Experience smooth transitions with 144 Hz refresh rate, 1 ms MPRT response time, and support for AMD's FreeSync Platinum Pro, all working together to reduce screen tearing and enhance visual fidelity.

Going Big

Whether you are sitting at your desk or prefer to build an entertainment center, the VG43UQ enables you to experience PC titles in a larger form factor that doesn't compromise performance. Anti-glare panel reduces reflections and glare, 10-watt stereo speakers provide crisp sound, and a convenient remote control allows you to adjust settings from a distance.

Visual Fidelity

Sit back and relax with the 43-inches of screen real estate that boasts a wide range of ports designed to optimize your gaming experience. Experience smooth visual experience as you run through the battlefield with HDMI 2.1 ports, allowing you to enjoy up to 4K resolution with 120 and 144 Hz for select console and PC games, respectively.

Made for Gaming

While the VG43UQ is the size of a TV, it still performs like a gaming monitor with GameFast input technology that reduces input lag, so button presses and trigger pulls are always in-sync with the action. Fast 144 Hz refresh rate and 1 ms MPRT offer smooth and fluid visuals as you take tight corners or run into the battlefield. AMD FreeSync Premium Pro enhances your image quality with low-latency visuals that works along HDR technology and DCI-P3 90% gamut to deliver vivid pigmentation for your games. The VG43UQ also uses multiple system presets to give you clear imagery suited for your current viewing scenario including Cinema HDR, Gaming HDR, and Console HDR modes.

In-Game Enhancements

Get the upper-hand in battle with a suite of in-game enhancements that give you the edge in the heat of combat. Dynamic Shadow Boost makes dark areas of the map easier to see without washing-out brighter areas. Extreme Low Motion blur (ELMB) sync reduces ghosting and tearing for sharp image quality. GameVisual offers preset display modes tailored for different types of games including Racing, MOBA, Cinema, RTS, RPG, FPS, sRGB, and Scenery. GamePlus hotkey offers on-screen elements such as Crosshair, FPS Counter, Timer, and Alignment markers for setting up multiple displays.

ASUS designed the VG43UQ to feature robust display settings and software allowing you to adjust a wide range of functions. Display Widget software utility allows you to fine-tune your settings while Sharable Display Setting Parameter allow you to take those settings and apply it to other same monitors. App Sync automatically detects the program you are using and applies GameVisual modes. MultiFrame enables you to arrange desktop windows, and Keyboard Hot Keys can quickly change settings with the press of certain key combinations.

Eye-Care Solutions

Ultra-Low Blue Light and Flicker-Free technologies are both TUV Rheinland certified, ensuring you that the VG43UQ meets standards designed to reduce eyestrain and fatigue, essential for prolonged gaming sessions.

Picture Modes

Plug in multiple devices and view them with Picture-in-Picture mode which lays one smaller image on top of your main window. Picture-by-Picture divides the display into segments so you can see multiple sources simultaneously.

An easy access side panel provides you with multiple connections including Two HDMI 2.0, two HDMI 2.1, one DisplayPort 1.4, two USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A, one USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-B, one 3.5mm audio jack, and one 3.5mm audio input port. The VG43UQ includes an ASUS Aura Sync ROG logo projector that can be customized with Aura Sync software and synced to other ASUS Aura enabled peripherals.

ASUS XG43UQ Reviews

10/10. Would highly recommend it.

Picture looks amazing with a PS5. I always bought Dell and Alienware monitors in the past and I’m really impressed so far. Onboard speakers aren’t bad but I’d recommend a 2.1 Klipsch speaker instead. Has a great metal stand that comes all ready installed. Comes with a remote and plenty of cables.

This thing is fantastic! Yes there's a tiny bit of ghosting in certain situations. But that's the trade off for having fantastic color and viewing angles with a VA panel. This is a highly valuable trade off for something that's to be used as a gaming TV. The colors and options are on point! ELMB sync is a blessing for those who get motion sickness with games. This thing is fast responsive and stunning. Best for last; this thing isn't serving you ads and spying on you in your living room. Looking at you Samsung and LG.

XG43UQ - Xbox Edition Review

Great monitor for console gaming. Only downside is the monitor does not have Dolby Vision and Dolby Sound capabilities. Being that this monitor is tailored specifically for Xbox Series X, I think that's a pretty big oversight.

A Great Asus ROG Strix XG43UQ

Rated 5 out of 5

This new ROG Strix XG43UQ is brand new in my studio. I,ve had it just 3 days. So a bit early on full review. However, After turning in a 43" acer predator, and an AORUS HO48U OLED, and struggling to set up up the usual suspects: basics, brightness/color/hdr/, etc. very frustrated with both units. Then brought the XG43UQ, was like the heavens opened. Everything worked right out of the box. Yet, I could still go into settings menu and tweak the basics to a truer tuneup to where I was more familiar with. Indeed, everything was improved and worked so much quicker. Yeah, I like this unit a lot. I'm keeping it! So, c'mon XG43, keep chugging. Thanks ASUS for an excellent product. I'm impressed. Word of caution with this....Do NOT use Windows display settings at all, unless extending with a projector. Use the Use the ASUS side panel menu with the remote, and do you selections there.

After 2 months started experiencing problems when turning on connected devices (Xbox Series X and a Mac Mini). Eventually only getting static/snow when turning on devices making the monitor completely useless.
