Hyundai Hytab Pro 8LA1 Reviews
Nice tablet excellent delivery
Excellent
Fyi
Is anyone having trouble recognizing there sim? The sim card mut be inserted backwards the little tapered corner on the sim needs to point up and metal contacts of sim facing away from screen towards the back cover, this is completely backwards to me I've always put the notch in first and the contacts towards the motherboard.
Less than the sum of its parts
The specs on this are good; LTE, good resolution + processor + memory. Has Micro-SD slot and 3.5mm socket still. It's inexpensive, and the screen visual quality is pretty good. The merits begin and end there. 1) this uses a micro-SIM. Maybe I missed that in the the specs anywhere, but who has larger than Nano SIMs anymore?. With an adapter it won't recognize multiple Tmobile SIMs, nor a leftover overseas prepaid (say no SIM vs. invalid SIM, which is what I'd expect for an old expired SIM.) 2) the build is very flimsy, much worse than even non-brand ones like Chuwi. I expected better from Hyundai. It feels slightly hollow, cheap plastic and both the screen and shell flex. 3) Their UI customization has many UI elements tiny, even at maximum font size. Bad for either kids or old eyes like mine.
