TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 Overview

Offered here in black, the 17mm f/1.4 Lens for Leica L from TTArtisan is a classic manual focus wide-angle prime lens well suited to landscapes, room interiors, street photography, and more. It features a bright f/1.4 maximum aperture, allowing it to be used in low-light situations and providing finer creative control over depth-of-field. The combination of nine multicoated elements and one aspherical element provide sharpness and realistic color transmission throughout the image area.

This lends is fun to shoot with and the image quality is just what I was looking for. It’s got a vibe about it that I really like for urban photography.

pretty impressed how it looks on the LCD and on a phone, but zoomed in when editing it doesn't hold up that much detail, feels pretty soft similar to vintage lenses but lacks the character I feel when I see pictures made with vintage stuff. I don't have an emotional response to looking through it as I do on most fuji lenses, but for 100 bucks its a nice lens to just capture whatever you see without caring too much

Unfortunately the TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 Lens cannot be adapted to an SLR camera like the Canon 90D.

TTArtisans does not provide the magnification ratio for the 17mm f/1.4 lens. As such, we believe that TTArtisans does not market the 17mm f/1.4 as possessing any significant macro capabilities.

On the lens specification page of the product manual, the frame is mentioned as APS-C. What will the focal length be on an M43?

Cameras with a Micro Four Third sensor have a 2x crop factor. So, the TTArtisan 17mm f/1.4 Lens for Micro Four Thirds (Black) has an angle of view of a 34mm lens on a full-frame camera.
