can you change the receiver that the transmitter is linked to? e.g. I need a second mic, can I just by another single kit?
Asked by: ron
If you need two wireless microphones, you can get the RODE Wireless GO II 2-Person Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder (B&H # ROWGII) which includes two transmitters that will both send audio to the same receiver. Or if you already have the RODE Wireless GO II Single Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder, you can use a second wireless mic system. It is possible to use two of the Wireless GO II Systems at the same time, and it is also possible to connect them both to a camera with a single 3.5mm mic input by using a mini mixer like the Kopul CMX-1-V2 Two-Channel Mini Mixer with Shoe Bracket (B&H # KOCMX1V2).

Can the mic (transmitter) be linked directly via bluetooth to a cell phone for example, without using the receiver unit?
Asked by: E
No. The transmitter for the RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder does not operate with Bluetooth. The only way to capture audio from the transmitter on a smartphone would be to connect the wireless receiver to the phone. If your phone has a USB-C connector, you can use the RODE SC16 Straight USB Type-C to Right-Angle USB Type-C Cable (B&H # ROSC16) and if you have an iPhone, you can use the RODE SC15 Lightning USB Type-C to Lightning Accessory Cable (B&H # ROSC15).

Could this microphone be useful when put on a player during a game? (aka mic'd up)
Asked by: Cody
Yes, the Rode Wireless GO II Single Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder could be used for capturing in-game audio when properly secured to an athlete during gameplay. You may want to consider adding a lavalier microphone such as the Rode Lavalier GO Omnidirectional Lavalier Microphone for Wireless GO Systems (BH #ROLAVGO) so that the transmitter can be properly secured elsewhere in the player's uniform: https://bhpho.to/3LbG3AZ

How do I tell if a xmittr is charging, or charged? The blue light doesn't always come on. And the transmitter doesn't turn on,
Asked by: Steven
When charging the transmitter for the RODE Wireless GO II Compact Digital Wireless Microphone System/Recorder, the battery LED on the transmitter will flash and the battery level icon on the receiver will display a lightning bolt. When the battery is fully charged, it will display a green outline. The Wireless GO II can also be used while it's charging.
