FeelWorld LUT5 Overview

Upgrade your on-camera viewing experience while shooting in the field to a Full HD touchscreen monitor with the FeelWorld LUT5, a compact 5.5" IPS monitor outfitted with 3000 cd/m² auto-dimming brightness and a multitude of video assist functions. The LUT5 supports 4K HDMI in and out, and it uses Rec. 709 color standard with color calibration for accurate color reproduction and vivid image viewing. A single 1/4"-20 thread on the bottom of the monitor allows it to be attached to the included hot shoe mount and integrated into your run-and-gun setup.
Daylight Viewable Monitor
The monitor features a brightness of 3000cd/m², 1000:1 contrast ratio, 328 ppi pixel density, and a 160° viewing angle so your screen remains visible in direct sunlight at virtually any angle. An embedded ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the monitor's brightness to suit your filming environment.
Intuitive Control and Connectivity
A 1920 x 1080 full HD touchscreen allows for seamless control over monitoring functions like waveform, vectorscope, histogram, and other video assist tools. Toggle the main menu by tapping the screen twice, swipe up to open the shortcuts, and adjust the brightness of the screen's backlight or volume on either side of the screen. HDMI input and output ports support the transmission of up to 4K video at 30 Hz.
Custom 3D LUTs
Use the SD card slot to load up to 50 custom 3D LUT files to make color calibration more intuitive. The monitor converts log mode to Rec.709 for all major cameras for optimized workflow.
Built-In Cooling System
The monitor features a built-in heat conducting unit and a low-consumption fan with multidimensional cooling holes. This makes cooling off the unit more effective.
External Gear Mounting
An external mounting area near the F970 battery plate allows you to mount a wireless transmitter or fill light on the monitor and power the device simultaneously. Two cross slots can be adjusted to your desired position by loosening the screws. If you don't need the kit, loosen the screws entirely to remove it from the monitor.
Power Compatibility
  • Compatible with the following Sony NP-F batteries: F970, F960, F950, F930, F770, F750, F730, F570, F550, F530
  • Working time with battery is up to 2.5 hours
  • 8 VDC output can distribute additional power to your DSLR or mirrorless camera to extend its runtime in the field

I never thought a fan noise would bother me but this is like a mosquito in my ear. Everything else about it is great but I just don't get why this sounds so awful. To keep it silent, keep it below 30% luminance and once you go above that you have to dig in the menus again for silent mode.

Perfect for my use.

As someone who is not used to using monitors other than those offered by the cameras themselves, I say that I am very satisfied, excellent brightness, good visualization of the scene, even being under the strong sun did not disappoint me.

The DC power input of the Feelworld LUT5 supports between 7 to 24 VDC. The display also has a power output that supports 7.4 to 8 VDC power out to your DSLR or mirrorless camera.

If the FeelWorld LUT5 5.5" IPS 3000 cd/m² On-Camera Monitor states no signal, likely a resolution and frame rate is being sent to the monitor that is not accepted.

The FeelWorld LUT5 5.5" IPS 3000 cd/m² On-Camera Monitor (B&H# FELUT5) does not yet, at the time of this writing, have any dedicated cage that is designed to be form fitting for it. However, generic cages such as the CAMVATE Monitor Cage Kit with Adjustable Rubber Handgrips (B&H# CAC1854) will work well: https://bhpho.to/3zhypCu
