Ideal for photographing in high contrast situations, the 84 x 120mm Galen Rowell Graduated Neutral Density 0.9 Soft-Edge Filter from Singh-Ray helps to balance exposures and produce imagery with greater highlight and shadow detail. The filter's design places the 0.9, 3-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the center of the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The soft-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with an uneven or indistinct horizon line, as well as when working with a wide-angle lens. This filter is constructed from optical resin that is both durable and helps to maintain high clarity, and is compatible with the Cokin P filter holder.

The filter's design places the 0.9, 3-stop density at the top of the filter and then transitions to clear by the center of the filter for a gradual, natural appearance. The soft-edge transition between the density and clear areas is well-suited for photographing scenes with an uneven or indistinct horizon line, as well as when working with a wide-angle lens. This filter is constructed from optical resin that is both durable and helps to maintain high clarity, and is compatible with the Cokin P filter holder.

Traditional graduated neutral density places the most density at the edge of the filter and tapers to clear by the center of the filter in order to accommodate photographing scenes with large bright areas, such as a daytime sky.
Soft-edge transition between density and clear portions of the filter is suitable for photographing scenes with an indistinct or uneven horizon or line between light and shadow, and is also best-suited for use with a wide-angle lens.
Neutral density 0.9 provides a 3 stop reduction in light in selective areas.
Constructed from optical resin for overall clarity and durability.
Compatible for use with the Cokin P filter holder.
Included filter pouch protects the filter when not in use.

Will this filter work on my 24-105 L lens from canon, 77 mm?

I use it on my Nikon 24-70 with a 77 mm filter thread. I usually just place it in front of my lens. If you have to use a filter holder, I would suggest the Cokin Wide Angle filter holder for P series. It will allow you to shoot at 24 mm without vignetting.
