I recently shot more than 7,000 images over a 10 hour period and still had 51% of my battery power left according to my Z9 battery information. Using the D version of the EN-EL Nikon battery means it can stand up for a shooting day as well as Nikon's prior flagship cameras that were DSLRs.
Given the amount of power the Z9 requires to perform at such a high, the battery life is incredible. I can shoot stills for days, and stills and 4K video all day. Having two batteries should get you through almost anything.
Come back for my review should you EVER GET MY Z9 TO ME.
What can I say, great battery, works with the camera, holds a charge and gives that charge to the camera body, which then disperses those little electrons to where they need to go. The electrons seem to have been delivered on time, every time.... so I'm happy with it! 5-Stars Baby!
I'm impressed with the capacity of the battery, I always make sure to have at least 2 batteries on hand, I just wish the price were a little lower... Great battery - gets the job done.
It carries a charge for a full day of shooting with my Nikon Z9.
First full charge set up an 1800 photos before recharging!
The battery took 4 months to get, the camera still has not arrived - it's been 5 months and no indication when it's expected. Very frustrating! Normally B&H does a great job - not so much on this one.
