Bring the vintage colors of the SH-101 to your synthesizer palatte with the TAL-BassLine-101 from TAL Software. This virtual plug-in instrument is based on the legendary monophonic instrument from 1982 and sports one voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) with an adjustable pulse width and one low-frequency modulator oscillator (LFO), and lets you switch from mono to 6-voice polyphony. The 24 dB filter with resonance and cutoff frequency controls can be made to self-resonate into extreme acid zones, while envelope/VCA controls, portamento modes, and an apreggiator/sequencer round out the package.
In order to recreate the sound accurtely, the TAL-BassLine-101 doesn't use samples, but instead computes the sound in real time, running in your host DAW on AU, AAX, VST, or VST3 platforms. The software's MIDI-learn function makes it easy to automate changes in your DAW.
