Hyperlite Mountain Gear Camera Pod Overview

The large Camera Pod from Hyperlite Mountain Gear measures 9.5 x 6.5 x 4.25" and is an ultralight, durable, and weatherproof camera pouch. Built with a selection of lightweight Dyneema composite fabrics for performance and protection, you can be confident your camera is secure as you focus on your next shot.

The Camera Pod features eight points of attachment, including two Nite Ize #2 Slidelock aluminum carabiners. It has 0.25" closed-cell foam padding and a waterproof zipper for optimal protection while hiking, camping, or traveling in harsh locations.

Plastic bags are cheaper

It sure looks cool… but honestly a plastic bag from the grocery store will provide the same amount of protection for free. Add more padding! I think you over indexed on the “lite” part and shortchanged the protection part. Would not recommend. Also, those other straps on the front are absolutely pointless with how small they are.

Was super happy that it fit the Nikon D850 perfectly with the 14-24 lens. I am upgrading the carabiners though as one is already broken.

No, Hyperlite Mountain Gear Large Camera Pod (9.5 x 6.5 x 4.25", Black) is too small for your Olympus OM D 5 M III and Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 100-400mm f/5-6.3 IS. The camera with the lens attach has a total lenght of 10'' without le lens hood.

You will be able to fit the body with a 24-70 2.8, and a small L bracket. But not with the 100-400 4.5- 5.6 OSS.
