Polk Audio MXT15 Reviews
It's like the music is live!
These are wonderful speakers. It's like I'm in the listening to the music live instead of through speakers. I'm glad I chose these.
Very impressive for the size and cost
I was in need for yet another pair of speakers. I really didn't need much for performance and so I limited my budget for this purchase. I think it would only be fair to include what else is feeding them. I have them hooked up to an older Teac reference series A-H300 amplifier and feeding into that is Marantz NA7004 media player, A Denon DN-C640 CD - network streamer and a Sony MDS-JB920 Minidisc deck. I am quite impressed with clarity and also how much bass can be thrown for this small package. I mean, don't expect these to throw as much bass as a subwoofer or enclosures with 10 to 12 woofers, but this surprised me on how much they could. I paid list price for these which is, at this time of writing, $199/pair. Bottom line is, if I needed another pair of bookshelf speakers, I would think twice and just purchase these again.
