The 3 x 5 7/8" Itoya Pocketlens is a flat and compact alternative to bulky magnifiers. It is ideal for home and office use and comes with a complimentary protective sleeve.
When it arrived I was initially kind of disappointed. Judging from the image on the BH it looked like the lens was made out of much thicker plastic. The holding case was kind of flimsy-looking, although clearly more than adequate for safe storage of the item. I was really quite surprised, though to see how good the magnification was, sharp even though it uses a frenel as opposed to clear lens. After using it a few times, I found it to be an very useful tool, way better than it looked like at first.
