The SmallRig Baseplate for Sony a7R V & a7 IV attaches to the bottom of the camera with a 1/4"-20 screw and a locating pin. On the bottom, the baseplate features 1/4"-20 threads, a shoe mount for mics, and an integrated Arca-type dovetail. A magnetic flat-head screwdriver comes inserted in a dedicated slot on the bottom. The sides of the baseplate are lined with leather to provide a comfortable feel. A lanyard slot is also provided on the side.

Yes the SmallRig Baseplate for Sony a7 IV is Arca compatible and the DJI RS2 uses a dual-layer Manfrotto plus Arca-Swiss camera mounting system. So it is compatible.

SmallRig Baseplate for Sony a7 IV has a safety pin that only aligns with the Sony A7 IV mirrorless camera to prevent any twisting on the plate.
The Sony A7 III can also be attach to this plate but is not a precise fit, however you will have access to pop the battery in and out.

Yup!
I was fairly certain it would fit (since the IV and V share a vertical grip), so I went ahead and ordered it. I was surprised since it actually fits better than the Sony vertical grip does. Feels natural on the camera, and the battery door opens fine.
