The 20.3 x 9.5 x 7.7" fixture has a lens that narrows the light's wide beam angle. Like most theatrical snoots of well-equipped ellipsoidal, the VSA-36K allows you to make sharp cuts with the included gobos and gobo holder. The light also has a filter holder in front of the lens.

I bought two of these after watching a review of these and a review of the Nanlite product by Gaffer Gear.. These seem to work much better on the Nanlite 500's than it sounds like the actual Nanlite ones do. Either way, I'm VERY happy with them. Just need to get the other lenses now - too bad the case only has enough room for 1 lens though.

The benefit of utilizing the Godox VSA-19° Spot Lens will be distance. One can get the same effect using the Godox Iris Diaphragm for Spotlight Attachment, along with the Godox VSA-36° Spot Lens but from closer distance to subject.

what is the distance difference between the 36 and the 19 ....is the 36 for smaller rooms and the 19 for larger?

The Godox VSA-36° Spot Lens has a wider beam, allowing you to cast a spot from a shorter distance. If you need to further control that beam, you can add the Godox Iris Diaphragm for Projection Attachment and be able to create a smaller circle from the wider lens.
