Designed to support long-distance video surveillance and other data transmissions, the TL-FC311A-20 has a range of up to 12.4 miles over a 9/125µm single-mode fiber cable while using up to 328' long Cat 5/5e Ethernet cables with the RJ45 port. The TL-FC311A-20 transmits at a frequency wavelength of 1550nm and receives data at 1310 nm, which complements the TP-Link TL-FC311B-20 WDM Media Converter. Half- and full-duplex modes are automatically negotiated.
