ProGrade Digital 512GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card
Key Features
  • 512GB Storage Capacity
  • UHS-II / V90 / U3 / Class 10
  • Max Read Speed: 300 MB/s
  • Max Write Speed: 250 MB/s
The 512GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card from ProGrade Digital features a storage capacity of 512GB and takes advantage of the UHS-II bus to support maximum read speeds of 300 MB/s and maximum write speeds of 250 MB/s. This card has also been designed with the V90 Video Speed Class rating, which guarantees minimum write speeds of at least 90 MB/s, allowing the card to be used in DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, camcorders, and digital cinema cameras that produce rich data streams, including 6K, 5K, 4K, UHD 4K, and high bit rate MPEG-4 video. It is also well-suited for raw photos and rapid-fire bursts.

UHS-II cards achieve their speed through an extra row of pins and while this card has been designed for cameras that are UHS-II / V90 compatible, it may be used in devices that do not support UHS-II / V90. However, bear in mind that this card will then default to your device's speed class and bus rating, such as UHS-II and V60, which supports minimum write speeds of 60 MB/s, UHS-II and V30, which supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s, or UHS-I and U3, which also supports minimum write speeds of 30 MB/s. If your device does not support U3, this card is compatible with the U1 and Class 10 standards, each of which guarantee minimum write speeds of 10 MB/s.

Built for extreme conditions, ProGrade Digital's 512GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card is able to withstand temperatures from -13 to 185°F, allowing you to take this card with you into extreme environments, such as snow and deserts. It is also shockproof and X-ray proof, and a built-in write protect switch helps to safeguard your content from being erased.

Is this card good for 8K and 4K video on the Nikon Z8 or is there a better card?
Asked by: Allen
The card speed will be related to the settings on camera, if we look at this as a reference- 235 MB/s (write speed) for 4K 120 and 325 MB/s (write speed ) for 8K 30 Raw, then for 8K RAW the ProGrade Digital 512GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card may not be suitable. We would recommend to look at these cards https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1506555-REG/prograde_digital_pgcfx325gcjbh_pgd_325gb_cfexpress_memory.html and https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1688762-REG/angelbird_avp2t0cfxbmk2_2tb_av_pro_cfexpress.html/specs .

Are these cards 128GB each per card or 2 cards of 64GB each totalling 128GB? The description in the write up is confusing.
Asked by: Soon Huat
Hi, sorry that there is confusion in the listing. Our two packs are two cards each of that capacity. So the 128GB two-pack contains two 128GB cards. I hope that helps, let us know if you have any other questions. -ProGrade Digital

That would depend on the resolution and frame rate you are recoding in. We would recommend using CFexpress Type a cards like the ProGrade Digital 160GB CFexpress Type A Cobalt Memory Card instead. See: https://bhpho.to/3T1H2Ib

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV DSLR Camera use UHS-I SD cards. You can use ProGrade Digital 256GB UHS-II SDXC Memory Card on your camera but there are no improvements on the camera speed performance because you attach a faster card.
