The Schoeps CCM 41 LG is a matched pair of CCM 41 LG compact microphones with 3-pin LEMO connector configuration. The CCM 41 design is a direct result of the demand for a compact capsule with high directivity comparable to that of a short shotgun microphone, but with highly consistent directionality throughout its frequency range.
The CCM 41 is ideal for music and speech, and often preferred for use in film sound recording and as a spot microphone in orchestras. Off-axis sound is attenuated more effectively than that of a traditional cardioid polar pattern. The pickup is "drier" and less susceptible to acoustic feedback than any other Schoeps microphone.
These matched microphones are delivered with a hand-signed Certificate from the factory. Matching is of frequency response and sensitivity within exceptionally low tolerances.
