What does TAA compliant mean and is this limited to use in the USA?

What SAS port is on the back of this? Is it a ...

What SAS port is on the back of this? Is it a SFF-8088 port or does it require external power via SFF-8482 Fanout and Molex?

It's amazing that the seller can't provide this information (and hasn't found it out), but even the manufacturer doesn't either. mlogic will sell this unit with an optional "Atto 1208GT HBA" (no mention of a cable). Going to the ATTO web page, this unit has an "SFF-8643 miniSAS HD" interface. I really should have asked this before i placed my order, I wanted to get the order in quickly it was a special order and it was a drop ship. That also means that the seller has no interest in doing more work to get the sale, it's just lagniappe.
