Leica VISOFLEX 2 Reviews
Turns your rangefinder into a hybrid
I use this with my m11 monochrom and it works beautifully. I also like the rangefinder experience so I don't solely rely on the Visoflex. For critical focusing with wide angle lenses and close-ups it does a wonderful job. I have pretty good eyesight but sometimes the Visoflex can achieve levels of sharpness that eludes me with the rangefinder. To me, it's a valuable addition. I highly recommend it.
Does its job
I was a bit disappointed to discover focus shift when using a Leica M body with Voigtlander lenses. I came from Nikon where all compatible lenses focused perfectly. I also wasn't excited to learn I needed an electronic viewfinder to fix this but it works. I enjoyed moving back in technology to the Leica M-world. It also enables accurate focusing in low light conditions, which is nearly impossible using a rangefinder organically. Being Leica, it comes with a price tag but it lives up to its needs.
