Visualize complex datasets, create, render, edit, and simulate with the 17.3" ZBook Fury 17 G8 Mobile Workstation from HP, which packs the traditional power of a ZBook into a dramatically smaller design, which is 1.06" thin and weighs just over 6 pounds. This system is powered by an 11th Gen 2.3 GHz Intel Core i7-11800H Eight-Core processor that allows you to run multiple applications simultaneously. If you need more power, the system can be overclocked to 4.6 GHz using Intel Turbo Boost 2.0 technology. The 32GB of 3200 MHz DDR4 RAM helps to ensure smooth multitasking and also allows the computer to quickly access frequently used files and programs. The current memory configuration is 2 x 16GB, which can be upgraded to 128GB of non-ECC or ECC RAM using the four 260-pin SO-DIMM slots.

The 17.3" IPS display features a Full HD 1920 x 1080 screen resolution, an anti-glare finish, WLED backlighting, a 16:9 aspect ratio, a refresh rate of 60 Hz, a brightness of 300 cd/m2, coverage for 72% of the NTSC color gamut, and 170° viewing angles. The dedicated NVIDIA T1200 graphics card has 4GB of discrete GDDR6 video memory and delivers a sharp, clear picture. You'll also be able to output video to an external display using the system's Mini DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0b, and dual Thunderbolt 4 ports, the latter of which support DisplayPort 1.4.

For storage of your files, this ZBook Fury 17 G8 is equipped with a 512GB NVMe PCIe M.2 SSD, plus three additional M.2 slots for expanding the internal storage. If you want to add external storage, optical drives, memory card readers, and more, there are two 40 Gb/s Thunderbolt 4 ports that also support USB4 and the BC 1.2 charging spec. There are also three 5 Gb/s USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, one of which doubles as a charging port. Gigabit Ethernet and Wi-Fi 6 (802.11ax) are built-in for wired and wireless networking, and Bluetooth 5.2 technology will also allow you to connect additional compatible peripherals.

So that content from memory cards may be accessed, a built-in SD/SDHC/SDXC card reader supports SD Express and lets users download content from their digital camera. Windows 10 Professional 64 (available through downgrade rights from Windows 11 Pro)
This system is preinstalled with Windows 11 Professional software and also comes with a license for Windows 10 Pro software. You may use only one version of the Windows software at a time. Switching between versions will require you to uninstall one version and install the other version. You must back up all data (files, photos, etc.) before uninstalling and installing operating systems to avoid loss of your data.
