Expand your business's external storage capacity by installing the RocketRAID 2722A External 8-Channel SAS-2 / SATA III RAID Controller from HighPoint into an available PCIe 2.0 x8 slot in your compatible workstation, server, or NAS system. Designed specifically to be used with RocketRAID 2700 series external drive enclosures, the 2722A supports up to eight 6 Gb/s SAS-2 or SATA III drives, totaling up to 128TB of storage, and configured for RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, and JBOD modes to fit your performance and security needs. Compatible external drive enclosures may be connected to the controller's two external SFF-8088 mini-SAS ports using separately purchased data cables. A low-profile bracket is included for small form factor systems. The RocketRAID 2722A external RAID controller is designed to work with Windows 7, Windows Server 2008, and macOS 10.9 or later in addition to Linux and FreeBSD platforms.
