Transfer your applications, files, settings, and users from an old PC to a new one, or an old operating system to a new one using this software download of Laplink PCmover Professional 11. Your data can be transferred across a wireless network, USB 3.0/2.0 cable, Thunderbolt cable, or Ethernet cable. If your computer has multiple users, you'll have the option to transfer some or all of the users. Security info about file ownership and access control is preserved for each user. This software is compatible with Windows 11, 10, 8.1, 8, 7, Vista, and XP. A network connection is required for product download and registration. Also required is 200MB of disk space for installation.

Please note that files with DRM protection or other specific licenses may need to be deactivated on your old system and reactivated on your new one. Specific hardware drivers, as well as anti-virus and anti-spyware programs, will not be moved. Also, this software is not designed to handle migrations for new operating systems to older ones.

Setup Steps
Install
Install PCmover Express on your old PC first, then start your PC-to-PC transfer.
Transfer
Click through the easy-to-use wizard to select which files, settings, and user profiles to transfer to your new PC.
Done
Once you've installed PCmover on your new PC and transferred the data, your new PC will have the personality and functionality of your old PC.
What You Should Know
Compatibility
Some programs on your old PC may not be compatible with a newer operating system.
Digital Rights Management (DRM)
Files with Digital Rights Management (DRM), such as music files and programs that require keys or serial numbers with a hardware fingerprint, may require deactivation on the old PC and reactivation on the new PC.
Copy Protection
Some programs with unique copy protection may need to be deactivated on the old PC and then reactivated with their original key or serial number on the new PC. If you are unable to deactivate applications on the old PC, please contact the software manufacturer for each respective application to have the license reactivated.
End User License Agreements
Users are responsible to follow end user license agreements with each application that is moved.
Anti-Virus and Anti-Spyware Programs
Anti-virus and anti-spyware programs will not be moved to your new PC.
Hardware Drivers
Specific hardware drivers will not be moved to your new PC.
OS Migration
PCmover is not designed for migrations from newer operating systems to older operating systems. For example, Laplink do not recommend attempting to migrate from a PC running Windows 7 to a PC running Windows XP, as doing so may render your system unstable.
Windows Updates
Make sure to apply all appropriate Windows Updates (including .NET) to your new PC before performing a migration with PCmover.
Serial Numbers
Please note that PCmover Professional serial numbers are unique to PCmover Professional and will not work with other editions of PCmover.
