The Osee Megamon 15 HDR Production Monitor with V-Mount Kit is a 1000 cd/m² 1920 x 1080 display packed with monitoring tools. Whether you prefer to use histograms, waveforms, false colors, or zebras, the Osee field monitor has the right tool to help you nail the optimal exposure. I ordered this monitor for a video shoot because a friend of mine had recommended, and I received it within 2 business days . I was out of town so I get home today to open my packet so I can use it for tomorrow’s shoot, and once I open it, I see the monitor is broken , so I call B&H and they are closed and Monday they are also out for vacation and they are close until April 30. It’s frustrating because I’m not going to be able to use the monitor for my video shoot and also I don’t know if b&h is going to swap the broken product they sent me ..

This monitor is a great product, which is why the little flaws are so annoying. After receiving this monitor my first instinct was to return it but after using it for a while, I changed my mind. The image is great you will need to spend at least 4 times as much to get a better display. Cryptic menu system that requires redundant clicks to make you settings, but functionally the monitor has the tools scopes you need and they can be assigned to function buttons.  Second the case/sunhood idea is a great idea but it is flawed in silly ways, I honestly doubt we will find a way to actually use the case the way they envisioned. There is a sewn in padded brace needs to be cut out to fit battery and wireless. When you put it on a stand the stand will hit the battery so you will want to move the battery mount to the optional mounting holes but then there are other issues with the case. I have decided to throw the case out the monitor is a great tool without the case. If you find a way to use the case without cutting out peace’s of it please share. In the manual it says not to obstruct the ventilation holes which leaving it in the case does.

The OSEE Megamon 15 HDR Production Monitor with V-Mount Kit (B&H# OSMEG15VMKIT) is the current (as of 10/2/2022) version of this monitor. You're referring to another version which is slated to be released on November 20, 2022. Yes, that's a different version.

An anamorphic crop would simulate a wide screen anamorphic frame by cropping the native aspect ratio of the video. The OSEE Megamon 15 will allow you to set custom guide lines to assist you in composing for your desired aspect ratio.

The OSEE Megamon 15 HDR Production Monitor with V-Mount Kit accepts 100 to 240 VAC, 50 / 60 Hz. You will need a AUS cable or USA to AUS plug adapter.
