Does this lens cover full frame sensors? I don't see anything in Kipon's marketing noting it an APS-C lens.

The image circle on this lens is designed for APSC cameras and is not designed for full frame cameras. That being said, the camera itself won't register what kind of lens it is and as the camera doesn't know what manual focus lens is being put in front of it. It would be ideal to put the Z9 in crop mode as trying to capture the image output of this lens in full frame mode would probably create severe vignetting. I own this lens for a system that doesn't have a full frame counterpart to try this out on, but I generally find that you shouldn't try to extend the intended use of a lens. There are only a couple of examples I can think of APSC lenses that almost create Full Frame outputs.
