The neoprene sleeve fits fine on the lens, but they rub against each other when I focus or zoom. I found the opaque cover elements are a bit confusing and hard to track. I think I will leave most if not all of the elements on the lens to protect it, because it is excellent at doing that. However, I think I may pull of several of the strips over the focus ring and a couple others so it works better. Otherwise, it does protect the lens.
