A subset of the Synchron Percussion III collection, Vienna Symphonic Library Synchron Cymbals and Gongs III Standard Library is a virtual instrument with a library that accurately captures the sound of several suspended cymbals, piatti, and ancient cymbals. You also get the the powerful cymbal and metal ensembles of Big Bang Orchestra Dorado (Percussion Ensembles), as well as the High Gongs Ensemble of Big Bang Orchestra Fornax (Pitched Percussion Ensembles).
The instruments were masterfully played in Synchron Stage A, Vienna at their designated positions onstage. Engineers employed four separate phase-coherent microphone configurations, recorded simultaneously with every nuanced detail to provide a broad range of room sound options. Using the included Vienna Synchron Player, all mic configurations can be mixed to create stereo mixes, each with different levels of ambience and stereo panorama. This 18.5GB Standard Library comprises more than 18,236 samples.

- Played in pairs, the piatti are recorded with normal and muted release, as well as loose, sizzling, dragged over each other, and scratched. The suspended cymbals were played with sticks, mallets, rods, brushes, as well as bowed.
