Meticulously crafted to meet the challenges of reportage and press photography, the Leica Q2 Monochrom Reporter Limited Edition Digital Camera is distinguished by its commitment to image quality and understated practicality. Both the red Leica dot on the front and the engraving on the top plate are inconspicuously omitted, letting you work without drawing undue attention to yourself. The camera features a 47.3MP monochrome sensor, which is used for the sole purpose of recording vivid and rich black-and-white imagery. The Monochrom Reporter Edition retains Kevlar body armor, a synthetic material known for its exceptional resilience. Over time, exposure to naturally occurring UV rays will change the material's color, until it matches the dark green, highly scratch-resistant finish of the camera body. In addition to these traits, the Leica Q2 Reporter offers the same level of protection against dust and water infiltration as the original Q2 model.

There's a small button on the camera-back, below the shutter speed dial. By default is selects various cropping sizes. It can be customizable though. Can you set this button to be a back-focus button, instead of pressing halfway on the shutter button on the camera's top?
According to page 149 of the Leica Q2 Monochrom Digital Camera's instruction manual, the Zoom/Lock button on the back of the camera may be programmed for use as Digital Zoom or as Metering Memory Lock (AEL/AFL, AEL, AFL). Page 47 states how to adjust the settings. It states the factory setting is Digital Zoom, but you may alternatively assign automatic exposure metering and/or metering memory lock to the Zoom/Lock button. It states select [Customize Control] in the main menu, select [Zoom/Lock button] in the submenu, then select [Digital Zoom], [AEL/AFL], [AEL], or [AFL]. To access the assigned menu function, press the Zoom/Lock button briefly.
