Guitarists looking to expand their cabinet IRs for the TH-U SuperCabinet modeling software will be impressed with the Overloud Jensen Electric Lightning 12, an IR library that extensively captures the full-sounding guitar tone of multiple guitar cabinets, each loaded with Jensen Electric Lightning speakers.
The Electric Lighting exhibits punchy, fast basses and extended highs with a slightly throaty midrange. It covers the superclean and superoverdrive tones typical of the most contemporary pop and rock music—up to the most extreme hi-gain, detuned, or baritone applications. This library features IRs systematically captured with 19 mics for 912 total impulse responses. The mics recorded IRs in 16 positions with two distances and two angles.
- Graphically browse the IRs in the library
- Blend them together
- Craft new cabinet tones with the unique Multiband mode
- Use the IR in the software
- Export the IRs in WAV-file format, compatible with software IR loaders and all the major hardware modelers

Every microphone has been moved to 4 different horizontal positions (Cap, Cap Edge, Cone, and Cone Edge), two distances and two angles, for a total of 16 IRs each. All the measurements have been repeated for each one of the cabinets in the library. All IRs have been phase aligned and they can be blended without phase cancellation.
