Check out the LAVOKOL B5, a wireless microphone system with a single transmitter, a receiver, and charging case with real-time headphone monitoring and a 164' range well suited for interviews, video production, podcasts, location recording, and live music performances. The omnidirectional condenser microphone transmitter features a Type-C headphone connector and an internal rechargeable battery that lasts up to 4 hours.

The receiver connects to your portable device via USB-C connector and features a USB Type-C port for charging pass through. The system includes a USB-C to Lightning adapter, allowing the system to work with any iOS device. The Acoustic mode restores the essence of sound, while the Noise Reduction mode provides intelligent noise reduction for a clearer sound. The Reverberation mode provides stereo surround and is applicable for live performance. The included case provides 40 hours of charging to the transmitter. The B5 includes a USB Type-C cable, a USB-C to USB-A adapter, and a Type-C headphone.

Poor sound quality

I bought this mic expecting better sound quality. I've worn the mic on my shirt pocket facing upwards. The audio has a lack of highs and can be boomy, resulting in an overall lack of definition. This was tested on a set of M-Audio BX5a monitors, which are typically very treble-heavy, to begin with. There are 3 modes: acoustic, noise canceling, and reverberation. The acoustic is meh. The noise canceling mode works fairly well, but it takes away even more of the highs, which are lacking in the first place. The reverberation does exactly what it says, so if you have a use for it, it's there. The USB adapters that it comes with work fine. It also comes with a USB-C earbud, with a 12 cable. This is completely useless because when do you ever have a device 12 from your ear? Overall, this product wouldn't be bad if it were priced in the $15-$20 range, but for $69, it's not a good investment. There are plenty of other pics out there, so I'd just buy something else.

The charging case and microphone are plastic, but they do have a nice textured finish that doesn't look cheap. I have found putting the clip on the outside of the shirt, and the unit on the inside of the shirt, allows the mic to sit nice and flat and doesn't move around. The mic is also very light weight, so it doesn't pull down on the shirt and look messy, like some of my other wireless mics.

This is a GREAT portable microphone that is priced right!

This microphone is a great little device. It's lightweight, uses USB-C, comes with a lightning adapter for iOS, AND comes with a charging case for $69?!?! The audio quality on this microphone is excellent. It has 3 modes, standard, Noise Reduction, and Reverb mode. The audio quality is great and the noise reduction mode worked very well! I was able to test this at the NAB Show and the before and after of testing with and without noise reduction is mind blowing! How could something this simple perform so well and for only $69?? Build quality is solid, the case is great and compact, and it also has a monitor feature where you can plug in the included single earphone allowing you to monitor playback in ear! I own Saramonic Blink 500 Pro as well as Comica wireless, and Rode Wireless Go II - While this mic isn't in the same price category as these, it certainly performs well! Gone will be the times of shoving the butt end of a phone in someone's face to capture audio. This is great for a quick news report, interview, or whatever your needs are. I just ordered the two TX unit and can't wait to use it!

Room for improvement

I like the concept of this mic system as it has some of my favorite features from other sets I own, like the charging case and the easy pairing. The audio also sounds decent for its price point. However I'm not sure if the unit I received is defective or not but the signal range has been very limited. I found that the signal would cut out 5-10' away from the receiver. Also I have a iPhone and since this unit is USB-C it requires me to use a adapter which makes the receiver stick out a little too far from my phone making it easier to get broken off. Also the USB-C headphones that it comes with to monitor audio is really short making it very difficult to monitor audio without holding the phone really close to your face.

I've used this a few times now with great results. It works just like it's supposed to - no configuration necessary. Just plug the unit into your phone, afix the mic, turn it on and boom - it's going. The only issue I found is that when the unit is plugged into your phone, you can't hear playback. It seems to assume you have headphones plugged in. There might be some workaround, the instructions are kinda limited. All in all - nice wireless mic product for clearer phone recordings.
