Monitor an indoor or outdoor area with the DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Network Bullet Camera from Hikvision. This unit uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 2688 x 1520 resolution video at up to 30 fps. Supplemental IR illumination provides up to 328' of night vision. The camera's 8-32mm varifocal lens delivers a 42.5-15.1° horizontal field of view.

Deep learning functions include perimeter protection, road traffic and vehicle detection with license plate recognition, and metadata of road traffic. Two-way audio is possible thanks to an audio input and an audio output. A memory card slot accepts microSD/SDHC/SDXC cards up to 256GB (available separately). Integrated PoE technology simplifies connectivity by enabling the transfer of power and data through a single cable.

This bullet camera complies with ONVIF profiles G, S, and T, making it compatible with a wide range of surveillance devices. It is housed in an IP67-, NEMA 4X-, and IK10-rated aluminum enclosure for outdoor use in areas at risk of vandalism.

Hikvision IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY Overview

Monitor an indoor or outdoor area with the DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Network Bullet Camera from Hikvision. This unit uses a 1/1.8" progressive scan CMOS sensor to capture 2688 x 1520 resolution video at up to 30 fps. Supplemental IR illumination provides up to 328' of night vision. The camera's 8-32mm varifocal lens delivers a 42.5-15.1° horizontal field of view.

Can I connect to it using Wifi or does it require a RJ-45 connection? Also, can it be powered by batteries or solar?

The Hikvision DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Outdoor Network Bullet Camera with Night Vision & 8-32mm Lens (B&H # HIPIZHSY832) is powered via a wired PoE connection or over DC power. This camera does not feature Wi-Fi connectivity and will only connect to a network over an Ethernet connection.

Will the license plate recognition detect license plates at an angle (approx 45 deg) as a car drives by in front of a house?

The Hikvision DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Outdoor Network Bullet Camera with Night Vision & 2.8-12mm Lens BH #HIPIZHSY2812 will detect most reliably from a lesser, more direct angle.

Do you need to use the HikVision NVR or have any additional licensing to use the License Plate Recognition feature?

The Hikvision DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Outdoor Network Bullet Camera with Night Vision & 2.8-12mm Lens (B&H # HIPIZHSY2812) does not require additional licensing to use License Plate Recognition features. LPR will operate correctly when connected to a Hikvision NVR, but these features are not guaranteed to work with all other NVRs.

Yes, the Hikvision DeepinView IDS-2CD7A46G0/P-IZHSY 4MP Outdoor Network Bullet Camera with Night Vision & 2.8–12mm Lens is a USA model with a USA warranty and USA firmware. B&H is an authorized reseller for Hikvision. It is for use in the USA only.
