I've worked with both the Astera and these SGC lights, and I recently bought the SGC 4 light kit. These grids are pretty much a must have accessory! I got two of them for the kit because generally the interview type work I do, that is all I need. They are a fraction of the cost of the Astera accessories, and if you were thinking you could even use most of the Astera accessories, you'd be wrong. The SGC tubes are about an inch longer and will not fit. So far, I am loving the SGC lights!
