Are the V-Flat World Duo-boards heat-resistant and food safe?

V-FLAT WORLD 30 x 40" Duo-Board Double-Sided Background are not heat resistant. And you can photograph food on it but it is not listed as food safe.

Two, V-FLAT WORLD 30 x 40" Duo-Board Double-Sided Background (Whitewash/Hickory Planks) might not line up in terms of the pattern. So putting two boards together you might see that.
