The rear of the tube sports an OLED display for on-board configuration, especially handy for handheld operation when utilizing the included swappable battery grip. The free Sidus Link app makes it possible to utilize tools unique to the Aputure and amaran ecosystems, such as Source Match, Color Picker, and Custom FX. DMX512 compatibility is enabled by a USB-C to 5-Pin XLR adapter and professional lighting control systems (available separately).

I really like the Amaran tube lights and this T2C is no exception. Itâs extremely compact and works as designed. I love the removable battery, plug in option, and multiple mounting points. In addition, I purchased the adapter for a DTAP battery which gives me more options for power, especially for longer duration where an outlet is a less desirable solution.
I also appreciate using the Sidus link app to control all of the Amaran (or Aputure) lights within a scene without having to touch each device. This light is a great tool at a reasonable price.
