Blackwrap - 12"x50' Roll is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 33.
Rated 3 out of 5 by from flimsy but works sorta This is very flimsy blackwrap. It works fine for blocking leaking light from vents and around the filter frame, but trying to use it to keep light off a backdrop, like I tried, is a lot harder. Because it's very thin aluminum it won't stay where you put it and you'll be tempted to use gaffer to hold it in place. Do not use this as an improvised barndoor. It sorta works, but not the stuff I remember using in the past (but forgot the brand so ended up trying this one) I know I won't get this one again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect for getting pure black backgroun Great accessory to have for lighting. You can see in the attached still from a video how I achieved a pure black background with one light, a piece of foam board for reflector and black wrap around the light. This came out great and it was my first time trying to get a pure black background.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Blacwrap 12'x50' Review For the price this roll of black rap is the way to go. The build of the material is strong and long lasting. Once a piece is separated from the roll and used you can fold it up for many future jobs. This size is perfect for small to medium sized lighting setups. You can also double up for extra width. Overall an essential part of any cinematographers kit for controlling light.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It's black, it wraps, it rocks! This stuff is great for shaping light; making snoots and all kinds of other items, like cookies, or a fancy hat. Matte black is a good thing, too. It's heavy duty and like aluminum foil, it forms to whatever your crimping it on to. But it can be sharp, so use caution . . . or gloves. I made a cookie for a Tota frame and it works great. Save your pieces. Yay Blackwrap!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good Stuff I use this blackwrap in a variety of ways. The same pieces can be used again and again. It's a good value for me.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great stuff I used the blackwrap to focus light beams, blackout windows, and in the place of flags. I'm working on an extremely low budget, so it's nice to have a material that's so versatile and cost efficient, and B&H offers a great price. I would defenitely recommend this to anybody wondering what equipment should make the cut of a low budget project.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You won't be foiled again Great stuff. Very versitile. I use it to gobo my flash gear and other lights. Also good to use as a flag for the lights. Easy to mold and holds it's shape very well. You know how you have a roll of gaffer's tape in your tool box just in case you need some? Well, it's the same with this stuff. You need to have it just in case you need some.
