The large Athlete Camera Backpack in yellow from AtlasPacks is a travel pack designed to transport and protect large amounts of gear on your outdoor adventures. Made from weatherproof 240 double ripstop fabric, it has a removable frame, plus multiple pockets and attachments. The bottom has a slight taper and the pack loosens up towards the top by about 6". Long lenses and camera bodies may extend beyond the top of the divider and sidewalls. Once inside, gravity takes over, the foam compresses, and the bag secures your lenses firmly.

What is the difference between a medium and large? Both listed at 40 L. Thank you.

There are a number of differences between the medium and large Athlete Packs, let's drill into the details....... 1. Torso length ' Choose the torso length that's best for your height. The medium is best for taller torso's over 18" and the medium is best for anyone less than 18" 2. Pack Height: There is a 2" difference between pack. The medium stands about 21" tall, the large about 23" tall 2b. Internal Frame: The large has a second set of flame flaps which provides for the option to remove the standard large frame and install a medium size frame "travel frame". This will bring the height down to about 21", same as medium. 4. Interior Maximum Volume: The medium pack will carry slightly less non-camera gear when compared to the large. Est. 2-3 liter less. 4. Pass-Through Zipper: Only available on the large. Allows for access from camera side to non-camera via double zipper above Origami Camera Core (TM) 6. Backpanel Admin Pockets: Large has x2 small pockets. Medium has x1 big pocket 7. Raincover: Medium raincover slightly smaller than large raincover.

Each pack comes with a hip belt of choice for no additional cost. Choose your hip belt size and style after you have selected your pack. Generally speaking hip belt sizes correlated with trouser / pant sizes. Please see the size guide for more info.
