Immersive Surround Sound
Accomplishing an all-encompassing dome of audio for your home theater, Nakamichi combines an array of drivers in the soundbar and two rear speakers with SSE Max processing. The soundbar features six 2.75" twin-cone full-range drivers, providing left, right, and center channels, along with two side-firing 1" tweeters. These drivers are custom-designed and produce both mid and high frequencies, making audio more dynamic and improving dialogue clarity from the soundbar.
The rear speakers each employ two drivers, a 3" cone and a 1" silk dome tweeter. They provide rear surround effects, but can also be used for height-based effects when turned horizontally and faced up. Along with physical positioning, the SSE Max algorithm helps to produce height-based effects that complete an encompassing and immersive soundscape. In total, the three speakers produce 550W of audio power, with 400W coming from the soundbar and 150W from the rear speakers.

Inputs with HDMI eARC
The soundbar offers a total of three HDMI inputs, in addition to an optical, digital coaxial, and 3.5mm input. This allows you to use the Shockwafe Pro for a wide variety of playback sources. With eARC support, your TV can take advantage of the advantages of HDMI with a single cable, delivering playback support for smart streaming apps, such as Netflix, Disney+, YouTube, and more.
Bluetooth 5.0 with aptX HD
Not all of your playback devices need to be wired when using the Shockwafe Pro. The system supports Bluetooth 5.0 technology, along with aptX HD, for high resolution wireless audio that you and your family can stream from compatible mobile devices, such as a smartphone or tablet.
SSE Max
SSE Max is an algorithm that's utilized to deliver the height-based effects that complete the surround sound experience of the system. It also works with the hardware to improve bass performance and provide you with soundscapes that can adjust the audio to better suit the room.
Advanced Backlit Remote
You can control the entire experience from the included 43-key remote control. Its backlit design makes it usable in the dark, and its large, color-coded, thumb-sized buttons make everything easy to read and control by feel. A dedicated Surround button controls various Dolby and DTS output options, while the All Ch Stereo button provides a 1-click solution to enabling full surround output for any source. You also gain access to pre-configured SSE Max soundscapes to better match the Shockwafe Pro's audio to your room's dimensions.
