Trying to get a proper fit on all of the edges was a challenge. I was concerned about damaging the iPad Pro. This is a terrible design and I advise going with another manufacturer.

No, the Urban Armor Gear Metropolis Case for iPad Pro 12.9" (4th Gen, Black) BH #UAMIP129C4BK does not have a removable front cover.

What is a wake/sleep folio cover for UAG 12.9" iPad Pro 4th Gen?

When the folio cover covers the screen of the iPad it puts the iPad to sleep (uses minimal energy) and when the cover is lifted it wakes the iPad up for regular use.

The Urban Armor Gear Metropolis case is only designed for the Surface Pro 8. The Surface Pro 9 has a different button/port layout and will not be compatible.
