It has a load capacity of 17.6 pounds and a maximum height of 59.6" yet folds down to a compact length for storage or travel. The center column can be removed, and the legs spread out wide for low-perspective shooting from a height of just 14.4". Once removed, the center column can also be combined with the removable leg to form a monopod for moving more quickly, like when shooting action or wildlife.
